I wish we had time to make a movie about this unexpected battle. MILES OF DISCOMFORT Props to Chris for chomping on the Champ's heels till a bad trail arrow derailed his inevitable attack! Who even knew this was going to happen? Talk about a slug fest - props to Lance for even dealing with a long, muddy mountain bike race when he's clearly got the Tour on his mind!!!!E
Eatough told me today that he did get to chat w/Lance before the race and Lance seemed nervous. I would be too going up against E-TOUGH. Chris also said Lance didn't stick around long after the race, he left via Helicopter!!!
